Graf Research is seeking an Executive Assistant to manage the office, plan travel for company personnel and assist Controller with data entry and other bookkeeping tasks. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a team player. The ability to multi-task, while maintaining management team schedules, is essential in this position. We would prefer at least 5 years of experience as an Executive Administrator, but are open to candidates at multiple levels as determined by experience and the number of “should have” and “nice-to-have” qualifications below.
Proficiency with MS Office (Microsoft Word and Excel)
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Aptitude to work as a team leader and with all levels of personnel
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to research, negotiate and secure rates with airlines, car rental companies and hotels
Detailed oriented thinking when scheduling travel and logistics for trade shows
Willingness to maintain office supply inventory, oversee petty cash, assist in scheduling interviews and coordinating office events
Aptitude for welcoming guests and customers
Experience in data entry of A/P vouchers, journal entries and other data into accounting systems
Experience with excel spreadsheets
Willingness to learn bookkeeping tasks
DoD security clearance
Ability to serve as an Assistant Facility Security Officer
Location - Blacksburg, VA
Travel Requirements - No specific travel requirement, but candidates capable of traveling to perform technical presentation and customer interaction tasks will be given special consideration.
